Österreich ist seit Juni 2016 Mitglied der Beneluxa‐Initiative. Neben Österreich sind in dieser Kooperation von für Arzneimittel zuständigen Behörden auch Belgien, die Niederlande, Luxemburg und Irland vertreten. Die Länder kooperieren im Rahmen der Beneluxa‐Initiative in den Bereichen Horizon Scanning, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Informationsaustausch und in Form gemeinsamer Verhandlungen.
Die GÖG leitet die Domain‐Taskforce „Information Sharing“. Auch 2022 setzte die GÖG in dieser Funktion Maßnahmen zur Förderung des Informations‐ und Erfahrungsaustausches bei den Mitgliedern der Initiative.

Initiative on Pharmaceutical Policy

In June 2016, Austria joined the Beneluxa Initiative. Besides Austria, this cross-country collaboration comprises competent authorities for pharmaceutical policy from Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Ireland. The Beneluxa Initiative aims to ensure sustainable access to innovative medicine at affordable costs for our patients through collaboration in the areas of horizon scanning, health technology assessment (HTA), information sharing and joint negotiations.
Acting as lead for the domain task force “information sharing”, GÖG is engaged in fostering the exchange of information and experience among the members of the Beneluxa Initiative.
